Morocco and Israel agreed to strengthen farming and agricultural research ties, on the sidelines of the first conference of its kind, the international conference on food production technologies from the sea & the desert, held in Israel.
This agreement is made between the Moroccan national institute of agronomy and Israel’s Volcani center of agricultural research.
The two countries, agreed to foster cooperation, exchange experiences and knowledge in the agricultural sector, and they started working on building partnership.
“This Moroccan Israeli new agreement, will allow the exchanges of students and researchers between the two countries, while the Moroccan side aim to benefit from Volcani’s experience in wheat genetic improvement and smart & green agriculture”, said Mr.Faouzi Bekkaoui, the Director of Moroccan agronomy institute.
