Moroccan-Russian nuclear cooperation

A new cooperation agreement in the field of the use of atomic energy for peaceful purposes, has just approved by the government of the Russian Federation and Morocco.

The draft cooperation agreement between Russia and Morocco includes the construction of a nuclear power plant in Morocco, reported the Russian news agency Tass.

The agreement was negotiated by the state company Rosatom and coordinated with the Russian Foreign Ministry, and other authorities that worked with Morocco, Also providing for cooperation in at least 14 areas.

Additionally, Russia will help Morocco on nuclear energy exploration, solar energy training, and the training of the frameworks in working on nuclear power plants.
