The Paris 2024 Olympic Games started with and amazing launch parade where 116 boats sailed from the ELF Centre through a 6 km course on the River Seine and was recognized by 300,000 spectators. Thus before the ceremony different athletes of different nationality as for example Ivorians, Djiboutians, Egyptian and Congolese from Democratic Republic of Congo boarded the boats.

They were thereby able to be united by these athletes joined by athletes from Denmark, Korea, and dominican republic hence making the large happy, joyful congregation.

This was accompanied by music during a stopover which the Costa Rican team provided since the bus and boat parade was next, this gave the athletes a chance to take a snack before joining the boat parade. The expectations where high, especially for the Ivoril football team with Cheick Cissé as a flag bearer, the stars where in his eyes.

”This is the day for which I have prepared for and indeed it is a big day for me both as an athlete and a young Ivorian,”catid[, Said the 2016 Olympic champion in taekwondo. ‘This is very dear to me as I have been participating on Olympic Games for three times now,’ stated Misbaseline, ‘And it will be great to be at Paris – such a beautiful city with great organization. ’

While this was many for Cheick Cissé, it was the first time for Congolese swimmer Aristote Ndombe Impelenga. While speaking to the media, he said, ‘This is my first time competing in the Olympics and to be in Paris is a dream come through. ’ “We all have team pride and as Congolese we always say go Leopards we are all the same. ”

This was also done in exchange of pins with the Danish and Dominican athletes as they bond together before they set off on the boat to see the great Olympic bump.

Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony was not only a numbers’ show but a colorful demonstration of coming together and strength of athlete s across the world.
