Grammy Award-winning artist Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is expanding his creative horizons by venturing into the world of filmmaking.

The artist known as the ‘African Giant’ is set to make his debut as an executive producer in the upcoming film ‘3 Cold Dishes,’ which will be produced by Black Mic Mac. This exciting news marks Burna Boy’s entry into the world of cinema through Spaceship Films, a company he co-founded with his mother, Bose Ogulu.

Local media reports highlight that Burna Boy’s foray into film production will be realized through Spaceship Films, in collaboration with several other production houses, including Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.

The film, directed by Asurf Oluseyi and penned by Tomi Adesina, unfolds a narrative that spans across Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire. ‘3 Cold Dishes’ promises to be a compelling story brought to life by a stellar ensemble cast featuring Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, and Brutus Richards, along with notable actors from Ivory Coast and Senegal.

As Burna Boy transitions from music to film, his fans eagerly await the artistic impact he will undoubtedly bring to Nollywood.
