Expected Rainfall and Thunderstorms in Several Regions in Morocco

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts that the weather will remain relatively hot in the far south and southeast regions of Morocco on Wednesday.

Low clouds accompanied by fog or very light and localized rain are expected in the northern and central plains.

Additionally, scattered thunderstorms are likely over the Atlas Mediterranean highlands, the eastern region, and the northern slopes of the southeastern mountains.

Moderately strong winds with dust scattering are anticipated in the southeast regions of the country and the southern part of the eastern region.

The minimum temperatures will range between 9 and 15 degrees Celsius in the highlands and between 21 and 28 degrees Celsius in the southern desert regions and the southeast. The rest of the kingdom will experience temperatures between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius.

During the daytime, temperatures will slightly decrease in the southern eastern region and the southern provinces.

The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and Alboran Sea, and locally rough on the Atlantic coast, becoming locally calm to slightly rough in the evening off the northern coast of Asilah.
