The Mali national team has secured qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics after finishing third in the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations. They achieved this feat by defeating Guinea in a penalty shootout (4-3) following a goalless draw in the regulation time of the match held on Friday in Tangier.
With this achievement, Mali joins Morocco and Egypt as the third team from Africa to secure a spot in the Olympics.
In today’s final, the Moroccan national team will face off against their Egyptian counterparts at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat (at 9:00 PM).
