Kaduna State: Troops Eliminate Terrorists in Operation Forest Sanity

In an operation carried out by troops of Operation Forest Sanity, in collaboration with Defence Headquarters Special Forces, a significant blow was dealt to terrorism as six terrorists were killed in Kaduna State. The operation targeted the hideouts of these militants in the Giwa area of the state.

During the raid, a fierce gun battle ensued, resulting in the elimination of the six terrorists. The Director of Defence Media Operations, Musa Danmadami, reported that the operation took place on Friday and yielded positive outcomes.

The statement issued by Danmadami highlighted the recovery of various ammunition from the terrorists. Five AK 47 rifles, along with a total of 192 rounds of 7.62 x 39 mm Special ammunition and 74 rounds of 7.62 x 54mm Special, were among the seized items. Additionally, nine AK 47 rifle magazines, three improvised explosive devices (IEDs), three Baofeng radios, one PKM machine gun, three motorcycles, and other related items were confiscated.

The military high command expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the troops involved in Operation Forest Sanity. They also called on the public to play an active role by providing credible and timely information about terrorists and criminal activities in their communities.
