SIEL 2023 in Morocco: Over 62,000 Visitors in Four Days

The 28th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair (SIEL) in Morocco has garnered significant attention, attracting a remarkable number of visitors within the first four days. The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication reported that over 62,000 individuals attended the event during this initial period.

Under the distinguished patronage of the royal family, the fair experienced an 8% increase in attendance compared to the previous edition during the same timeframe. The SIEL, organized in collaboration with the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region and the Council of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region, is scheduled to continue until the 11th of June.

This year’s edition boasts the participation of 661 renowned Moroccan and international writers, intellectuals, and poets. Their intellectual contributions and presence will undoubtedly illuminate the literary atmosphere of this esteemed international fair.
