The first lady, Jill Biden, arrived yesterday, Saturday, in Marrakesh, as part of a six-day visit to Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Jill Biden found Princess Lalla Hasnaa at her reception when she got off the plane at Marrakesh-Menara airport this afternoon. Al-Ahed, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, while it landed Friday, in Egypt, and it is expected that he will visit Portugal in the next two days.
These visits by the First Lady of the United States envisage supporting youth and their future, especially in the areas of education, health, and empowerment, as well as reaffirming the United States of America’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with those countries.
