African Women: Composition of the Permanent Board of the League of African Women Writers

The League of African Women Writers of Morocco has unveiled the composition of the permanent board of the League of Women Writers of Africa, which aims to raise awareness of Africa’s specific literary heritage.

The executive board of the League unanimously approved the structuring of the permanent office of the League of  Writers in Rabat at a meeting on 27th April.

The permanent board of the African Women Writers’ League comprises the President, Badia Radi, and 22 members, including 8 members of the executive board of the Moroccan Women Writers’ League.

Ten women members of the Preparatory Committee of the African Women Writers’ League and four members from the regions make up the board.

The founding congress of the League of African Writers was an opportunity to anchor a women’s creative culture based on equity and equal opportunity.
