Addis Ababa: ANRE participates in the High-Level Dialogue of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa

The President of the National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Abdellatif Bardach took part, on Tuesday in Addis Ababa, in the High-Level Public-Private Dialogue on Investment in Electricity and Infrastructure Development in Africa.

This initiative organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and RES4AFRICA, is part of the African Union’s Agenda 2063 which aims to develop key infrastructure and ensure access to energy.

ANRE said in a statement that the dialogue saw the participation of public and private sector representatives from the African continent, to discuss reforms for the development of the electricity sector in Africa and ways to attract investment in this sector.

During this high-level political forum, Bardach highlighted Morocco’s remarkable achievements, under the high directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in the field of energy and the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting investment and cooperation in renewable energy in Africa.
