South Sudan did not prepare for the two matches against Congo (23 and 27 March) in the best conditions because of several economic and logistical problems.
The Bright Stars, a Ugandan football team, could only reach Brazzaville the day before the match.
The Bright Stars will face the Congolese Red Devils on Thursday 23 March at the Alphonse Massemba-Débat stadium in the South Sudanese capital, Juba.
The government-chartered plane carrying the South Sudanese delegation was originally scheduled to depart on 21 March but was delayed until the following day.
The Italian coach, Stefano Cusin, suggested that training and video sessions be conducted during the waiting time.
The South Sudanese team arrived in Brazzaville on Wednesday and was able to carry out some training sessions, while some players encountered visa problems.
