According to a diplomatic source contacted by some media, the plane carrying the delegation of Wydad Casablanca left early Monday morning from Libreville to Morocco.

The delegation was obliged to stop over in Gabon, because of a technical problem with the plane carrying them from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

It should be recalled that Wydad played on Saturday in DRC, AS Vita Club (0-0), in the match of the 5th day of the African Champions League (Group A), at the end of which, Wydad of Casablanca qualified for the quarterfinals of the African Champions League of Football.

The vice-president of the club, Saad Drieb reassured Sunday on the “physical and moral” state of the players.

The board of the club, chaired by Said Naciri has deployed all means to ensure another flight in good conditions.
