Morocco glares at the world at the opening of the 19th edition of Mondialito

A group of Moroccan artists performed, this evening, Wednesday, February 01, 2023, at the Grand Stadium in Tangier, the opening ceremony of the 19th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The artist, Kawthar Sadek, the most famous DJ, was the first to light the stands of Ibn Battuta Stadium in Tangier, accompanied by groups of dancers and dancers in traditional costumes representing all regions of Morocco, before they were joined by rapper Daisy Dross.

The opening of the Club World Cup was surprising in the presence of the Moroccan national coach, Walid Rekragui, who led the Moroccan national team to achieve an outstanding achievement in the history of Moroccan, African, and Arab football, by occupying fourth place in the Qatar World Cup 2022.

The opening match between Al-Ahly of Egypt and New Zealand’s Auckland City will be played in Tangier today, Wednesday, starting at eight o’clock in the evening Moroccan time.

The finalist from this match will face the American team, Seattle Sounders, on February 04, 2023, in the first quarter-final.
