Bandits Burned A Catholic Priest Alive in Nigeria

A group of bandits has killed a Catholic priest in Nigeria in the early hours of Sunday morning by burning him alive after setting his house on fire.

Another priest was wounded while trying to escape.

The incident took place at the parish headquarters of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kavin-Kuru, Baikoro District, which was attacked by bandits and caused the death of Fr. Isaac Achi and the wounding of Fr. Collins.

An investigation was opened about the tragic attack, and a security team was sent to the area to arrest the attackers, while Father Achi’s body was recovered and Father Collins was taken to the hospital for treatment.
