William Ruto: Government Is Focused On Economic Recovery

The President of Kenya William Ruto, has said at a prayer service to usher in the New year at State House, that the government is committed to reviving the economy.

Ruto stressed that the government will not hesitate to take difficult decisions to achieve sustainable economic growth.

The president revealed that the government has put in place a debt management plan to ease the country’s debt burden and can rely on revenue collected locally instead of relying on debt.

Moreover, lifting subsidies on basic commodities will enable the country to save more than 25 billion shillings per month, according to the president Ruto.
