Rwanda has attacked the neighbouring Democratic Republic of the Congo for encroaching on its airspace by flying fighter jets over its field.
The charges come amid heightened tensions between the two countries after Kinshasa accused Rwanda of aiding the M23 rebel group, which has resumed fighting in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Like the government of Rwanda, it is primarily made up of Tutsis.
Kinshasa apologized after one of his unarmed fighters flew briefly over Rwanda in November.
The overflight was an accident and the plane was on a reconnaissance mission. Kinshasa has yet to respond to Wednesday’s alleged overflight.
