Bishop Stephen Adegbite, chairman of the Lagos State branch of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (CAN), says peace will come to Nigeria and any evil prophecies will fail.
Adegbite released his statement in a Christmas message published to journalists in Lagos on Saturday. Adegbite said “Evil, will go way to God’s mercy and envelop the nation.
According to him, the coming of Jesus Christ, representing universal peace, acts as a balm to soothe every fear that people face.
“The seasons will be celebrated without resentment, and the long-awaited transition will sail to the glory of God,” he said.
The cleric said God favoured Nigeria to enthrone leadership that would freeze all social concerns in the country. (South)
