The National Association of Heavy Equipment Operators (NAHOEG) in Ghana, in partnership with the Regional Maritime University (RMU), has launched a recruitment program for Heavy Equipment Operator Training and Certification.

This training program follows the cooperation agreement signed between NAHOEG and the university last July. The contract stipulates that RMU will develop appropriate frameworks and up-to-date training programs.

besides NAHOEG President Dominic Kofi Eyiah said at a press conference in Accra on Monday, Dec. 19th, that the program will launch in his January 2023. He explained that the training program aims to improve the skills of operators and make the profession more relevant to the West and Central African sub-regional labour market in accordance with international standards.
