The wife of the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Mrs Oluremi Hamzat, at the Women’s Wellness, Mental Health and HIV Awareness Programme called on, yesterday, women to alert their children against the exploitation of unscrupulous politicians to cause electoral violence in 2023.

The initiative was organised by the wife of Babajide Ibrahim Obanikoro, the representative of Eti-Osa Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives, with the support of Evercare Hospital, Lekki, in Lagos, providing women in Iru Victoria Island Local Council Development Area (LCDA) with a free medical check-up and medical wellness awareness.

Against a backdrop of restricted access to medical care, Ms Hamzat said it was important to continue promoting initiatives that provide medical care for children and women, stressing the importance of such initiatives in contributing to the country’s growth.
