Congratulations from Arab and African leaders to the King Mohammed VI

After qualifying for the semi-finals of the World Cup, Arab and African leaders congratulated, in phone calls, King Mohammed VI, following the national team’s historic win over the Portuguese national team in the match hosted by Al-Thumama Stadium.

King Mohammed VI received phone calls from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the King of Jordan, Abdullah II, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The King also received phone calls from the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Al-Ghazwani, the President of the Republic of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba, and the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.

The leaders of the Arab and African countries expressed their warmest congratulations to the King on this historic achievement, thanks to the Morocco national team that became the first African and Arab country to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.
