The United Nations launched a campaign in Morocco entitled #Report_on_Hate_Speech, aiming to raise awareness about hate speech and its dangers and to call for stopping its spread, especially on social media and among football fans.

The Director of the United Nations Information Center in Rabat, Fathi Dabbabi, that the first goal of the campaign is to educate people about the meaning of hate speech.

Dabbabi added that the second goal of the campaign is to push people to stand up to hate speech by reporting it on social media platforms so that this kind of speech does not spread.

The Director of the United Nations Information Center in Rabat clarified that people who live with each other in a city, a village, or in a neighbourhood, respect each other, but in social media people have a kind of feeling that they do not live with each other, but in fact, they live with each other and influence each other negatively and positively.
