The late King Hassan II awarded in Pan-African Prize to his sincerity to Africa and Pan-Africanism

Ethiopia has chosen the late King Hassan II to be awarded in Pan-African prize for his contributions to the African Union’s establishment and his efforts towards Africa and Pan-Africanism.

The Pan-African award was presented to the speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives in a ceremony held in Addis Ababa, an African Youth Summit event.

Ethiopia salute and honours the king’s commitment, contribution and sincerity to Africa liberating, and defending its unity and prosperity through this award and exceptional recognition.

The award was presented in the presence of 54 African countries recognized by the UN, the Ethiopian Prime Minister, members of the government, former African Heads of State, high-level personalities and diplomatic corps accredited in Addis Ababa.
